Benefit Suppah Planned
May 2011, Megan Ferland graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington.
Shortly after, Megan suffered a fever, headache and unusual confusion and was taken to the hospital. Soon after, Megan’s symptoms
included seizures and she was life-flighted to Boston. Within a few hours of arriving at Mass General Hospital, Paul and Sherry
Ferland learned that their daughter was showing symptoms of a very rare disorder, Paraneoplastic Syndrome - which has claimed less than 500 previously recorded cases worldwide.
