2011 Thanksgiving Community Dinner
The Club sponsored our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Francis
Parish Hall in Winthrop on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2011. The dinner was
open to all who wished to join us and was served from 12:30PM to 1:00PM.
Rotarians worked from early morning hours until about 2:30PM
There was no charge for the dinner.
Home delivery was available in the Winthrop area and some 30 home meals were delivered as well as 25-30 served in-house plus many "take-homes".
Several made cash donations which will be given to the Winthrop Hot Meal Kitchen. Left over food went the the hot meal kitchen at Annabessacook Farm for their Thanksgiving dinner.
